When Mountainview was first established in Stratford in the early 2000s. John and Corrina felt that the Lord asked them “If you left, would the town notice? I want a Vineyard that makes a difference in Stratford.” As a result, we as a church felt called to be missional in our outreach to Stratford - these outreaches are filled with stories of God working. GR8kidz
Gr8kidz is an ECE centre run in our building and is something we’ve been passionate about for a long time. For over a decade, we’ve ensured kids have a solid start in their education while building a moral foundation from the teachings of Jesus.

The Living room
We’ve been blessed with a space in town that has given us a place to set up a Christian bookshop. Selling bibles, books and gifts, It’s run through our church by volunteers who give up their time to make sure the word of God is easily accessed in Central Taranaki.

The bridge
The bridge is our church cafe. Founded on the goal of keeping food affordable we have been open and serving for a few years and our primary dream to create a community around food is coming alive. Run primarily on volunteers from our church we look forward to serving food but also providing friendship, prayer or even just a listening ear to those in our town who need it.
